Thank You For Believing In Me.
I promise I will Do My Best.

For the past 16 years, Iíve been deeply involved in the education of children. Iíve served as the PTA President at Rock Canyon Elementary School and at Timpview High School. I was a Community Council member (four years at Rock Canyon and three years at Timpview), PTA Legislative VP and Community Involvement Commissioner.

I have proposed, developed and implemented innovative community outreach programs and have been involved with the new lowcost ACT preparatory class at Timpview. Through these experiences, Iíve come to know the parents, faculty and staff in our school district. Most importantly, Iíve come to know the kids. I will fight for them to have the best education possible. I believe that with careful planning and wise choices, we can provide that. Iím running for the seat on the Provo School Board, representing District 2.

I would appreciate your support on Tuesday November 2.

ďAs a former principal in Provo School District, I know how valuable Michelle will be as our school board representative. She will bring a fresh perspective based on her varied experiences in our school. I have total confidence in her judgment and trust her to work tirelessly for our children. She has served as Parent Teacher Association President for Rock Canyon Elementary and for Timpview High School. I believe as a committed parent, Michelle will represent other parents well.Ē

-Elaine Burgener, Former Principal

I was born in Provo and attended Provo City schools. I graduated from Provo High and met
my husband, Steve Kaufusi, while attending Brigham Young University. Our five children
(Alexis, Bronson, Corbin, Devin and Daryl) have all enjoyed their years in Provo schools. I
have a vested interest in our Provo schools. As your representative on the Provo School
Board, I am committed to making the education of your children a top priority.
